The Pinellas Aquatics Council (Council) was formed in 2006 as a grassroots organization of local aquatics professionals in Pinellas County, Florida. Professionals from all areas of the swimming pool industry including parks & recreation, Y branches, private clubs, and support industries came together to form the Council. Managers and lifeguards, coaches and instructors, suppliers and manufacturers, the Council strives to represent the industry as a whole. Each year, volunteers Council Members organize and implement quality educational and networking seminars and events. The Council also brings together professionals from all around the nation by supporting the Aquatics Group on Yahoo!.
Membership in the Council is no-cost and non-exclusive, all you are asked to do is sign-up for a free website account online so that we can communicate with you. We welcome and encourage all aquatics professionals to participate online and to attend meetings and training seminars provided by the Council regardless of your geographic location. Council seminars are funded through private-public partnerships and sponsorships. It is the mission of the Council to develop these successful partnerships to make quality training available for Aquatics Professionals at no-cost.
